A PIECE OF MYSELF

Born and raised in the midwest of Brazil, since a child passionate about any art form that this world creates. With a family full of music infuence I've grown curios and in love with it. My mom used to buy a new DVD every week and whenever I could I was at the movies. My friends got me into museums, literature, the bars, the underground concerts and the feeling of seeing the sunrise on the top of a building that we probably didn't have the permission to be at.

I've always had ease with cameras and my friends aways thought of me as kind of an "official photographer of the gang". Little by little these comments started to enlight me about what I love and what I want to do for the rest of my life. In the year of 2016 I started photographing professionaly. Inspired by the North-American photographer Chuck Lang, I've begun doing portraits, trying to avoid the cliche, always seeking the most artistic pose, expression and mannerism.

Constantly I found myself troubled by self-indulgence, by routine. So the feeling that I had done everything I could inside portrait photography started to consume me. Scrolling around YouTube I found this German photographer, climbing mountains, flying his drone trough landscapes that you could not believe was real. That really caught my eye instantly and therefore I decided to try my luck with landscape photography. In order to find new sceneries and experiences I left my beloved city of Brasília, where I've lived my entire life, and moved to the state of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil. There I found an entire new world, new ways of living. Waking up at 3 A.M. to hike a mountain during dawn just to see the first signs of the sun became an addiction, I was hunting sunrises. The interior of a tent, the smell of bonfire and the laughs under the sun are irreplaceable.

I've worked in many places and I did a little bit of everything in this life, I've travelled and met a lot of people and after all of that we realize that the best in life is in fact living.
